Malaysia, Bhagawan’s Centenary Celebration with Interfaith Prayers and Unity Gathering by SSSGC Seremban

In conjunction with the sacred Centenary Celebration of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Sri Sathya Sai Global Association of Malaysia (SSSGAM) Seremban hosted a harmonious and uplifting celebration on 6 December 2025, from 6.00 pm to 8.30 pm. The evening brought together devotees, well-wishers and leaders from multiple faiths, beautifully reflecting Bhagawan’s universal message of “Unity of Faiths” and “Love All, Serve All.” The event was also graciously blessed by the presence of Shri Uncle Raju Sai, whose participation added warmth and spiritual significance to the gathering.

The celebration was blessed by distinguished spiritual leaders from major faith traditions. Representing Buddhism was Monk Reverend Shi Shing Fa, while the Sikh faith was represented by Priest Giani Kuljit Singh. From the Islamic tradition, Ustaz Kaulad Zaman offered his prayers, the Hindu community was represented by Siva Sri Thinakaran Gurukal, and the Christian faith by Rev. Dato’ Jonathan Yesudas. Each venerable leader offered a heartfelt World Peace Prayer, inspiring harmony, compassion and unity.

A touching highlight was the Centenary Cake Cutting Ceremony, jointly led by all five interfaith representatives, symbolising unity through diversity in honour of Bhagawan. The celebration commenced with a procession, followed by the lighting of the lamp and offering of flowers at Bhagawan’s altar. Devotees then joined in uplifting devotional songs and bhajans, creating a serene spiritual atmosphere. Interfaith prayers further elevated the gathering, after which attendees viewed Bhagawan’s discourse and videos, showcasing His divine work for mankind.

Another joyful moment was the presentation of Attendance Certificates to Education in Human Values (EHV) students, recognising their dedication to character and value-based learning. The closing highlight was an especially heartwarming one, the Birthday Cake Cutting Ceremony led by the special children from Vivekananda Rembau Home, symbolising purity, innocence and Bhagawan’s love for children.

The celebration concluded with a sumptuous dinner, lovingly served to all devotees and guests. The event drew a warm and vibrant attendance of more than 200 individuals, comprising interfaith leaders together with their devotees, community organisations and well-wishers. Present were the President of the Negeri Sembilan Indian Chamber, the Guru Besar of the Tamil School, representatives from Vivekananda Rembau Home, the President of Sri Maha Mariamman Rasah Temple and the President of MPKSM, further strengthening the spirit of unity and collaboration.

The gathering was also graced by the Deputy President of SSSGAM, Vice President of the Spiritual Wing, along with Centre Chairpersons from three centres, whose presence added depth and devotion to the evening. The essence of the celebration shone through the Interfaith Prayers and the heartfelt Cake Cutting moments, reaffirming that although paths may differ, the heart of spirituality remains one.

In this sacred Centenary Year of Bhagawan, the gathering stood as a powerful reminder that peace blossoms through unity, understanding and unconditional love.
