Malaysia, Back to School Program by SSSGC Bukit Mertajam

The Sri Sathya Sai Global Association of Malaysia (SSSGAM) Bukit Mertajam successfully carried out a meaningful Back to School Seva initiative for primary and secondary school students, funded primarily through the Ceiling on Desire (COD) savings of the SSE students. This noble effort beautifully demonstrated how young hearts, guided by Swami’s teachings, can transform sacrifice into service.

As part of this seva, school uniforms, shoes and socks were lovingly purchased and distributed to 17 children comprises of 8 girls and 9 boys from Pacific Flat (13 children) and Taman Bagan (4 children). The programme was graced by the presence of three Gurus, centre team members, as well as parents and children, creating an atmosphere filled with warmth, unity and joy.

The parents and children expressed heartfelt happiness and deep gratitude for this loving gesture, which they received as a blessing from Swami. To further share Swami’s love, His picture, vibhuti and chocolates were also distributed to the children.

At the conclusion of the programme, the Gurus proposed the initiation of SSE classes in the Pacific area. The programme concluded with sincere prayers and thanksgiving, offering gratitude to Beloved Swami for His constant guidance and blessings in making this seva a success.
