On 31 January 2026, SSSGC Sai Anandam Bali, Indonesia organized a Narayana Seva for sanitation workers at the entering gate of TPA Suwung, addressing the critical trash overload affecting the island.
Bali has recently been facing a significant waste management challenge, with sanitation workers enduring long queues and delays while delivering collected trash due to overloaded conditions at the landfill. Recognizing their tireless service, the Sai Anandam Bali team stepped in to provide much-needed support.
The team distributed essential clothing and food items, while also spreading joy and motivation to uplift the spirits of the sanitation workers. During the event, volunteers shared short motivational words in line with the teachings of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, emphasizing compassion not only for physical needs but also for emotional and spiritual well-being, a principle that distinguishes Sai Organization’s humanitarian efforts from others.
This Narayana Seva serves as a reminder that true seva encompasses caring for both Bhoga (physical needs) and Rogha (emotional/spiritual support), reflecting the embodiment of Swami’s teachings in every action.
Through these efforts, Sai Anandam Bali not only provided practical assistance but also honored the dedication of sanitation workers who play a vital role in keeping Bali clean, showing that service with love can transform even the most challenging circumstances.
