An Animal Care Awareness Talk was successfully conducted for over 700 secondary school students ranging from Form 2 to Form 6 at SMK Menglembu, Ipoh, on the 6th April 2026. It was a collaboration between Sri Sathya Sai Animal Care (SSSAC), a sub-wing of SSSGAM Service Wing and Sri Sathya Sai Global Association of Malaysia (SSSGAM) Ipoh Centre. The session aimed to instil compassion, responsibility and kindness towards animals, while educating students on proper care, the importance of adoption and addressing issues such as stray animal welfare.
The talk also highlighted the significance of humane practices such as feeding, basic medical care, and the role of neutering in controlling the stray population. Students were actively engaged through interactive sharing, real-life experiences, and practical guidance on how they can contribute to animal welfare within their communities.
The program served as a meaningful platform to nurture empathy and a sense of service among the youth, aligning with the values of love and selfless service.
