As the world prepares to commemorate the Centenary Birthday of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the Sri Sathya Sai School in Lao PDR is marking this historic occasion through a transformative initiative that reflects both devotion and progress.
The school campus is currently undergoing a comprehensive architectural renewal, designed to give it a completely new appearance that harmoniously combines traditional Lao aesthetics with modern design elements. This transformation symbolizes the enduring relevance of Bhagawan’s vision, integrating cultural heritage with contemporary learning environments that nurture character, discipline, and service.
A key highlight of this renewal is the construction of the new “Prema Building”, which will serve as a cornerstone of the school’s expanded facilities. The plan for this building was graciously endorsed by the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, underscoring the deep spiritual and cultural bonds between India and the Lao PDR.
The Prema Building will be inaugurated on 23rd November 2025, coinciding with the Centenary Birthday of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. This occasion will represent not only the dedication of a new structure but also the rededication of the school’s mission to provide free, value-based education to children fostering human excellence and moral strength alongside academic learning.
