Malaysia : Compassion Without Boundaries — From the Differently-Abled to the Voiceless by SSSGC Ipoh

In celebration of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s Centennial, the Sri Sathya Sai Global Association of Malaysia (SSSGAM) Ipoh organized a Narayana Seva at the Perak Handicap Children’s Welfare Home in Batu Gajah on 27th September 2025, as part of their scheduled bi-monthly service initiative.

A dedicated team of nine devotees came together in the spirit of selfless service to prepare and distribute wholesome meals and essential items to 40 differently-abled residents. The Seva, held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., was filled with warmth, joy, and meaningful interactions that brought smiles and comfort to all present.

The residents, ranging in age from 15 to 74 years, have been sadly abandoned by their families, making the visit a deeply moving experience for the volunteers. In addition to serving the residents, the SSSGAM Ipoh team also extended their compassion to the stray cats that have found shelter within the home’s compound, by providing cat food.

Furthermore, the Sri Sathya Sai Animal Care Team of Ipoh has volunteered to spay the female cats to help manage the stray population responsibly.

This humble offering stands as a testament to Bhagawan’s divine message of “Love All, Serve All”, a reminder that no act of kindness is ever too small, and that through service, we can bring light, hope, and love to those who need it most.
