Malaysia, Blood Donation Campaign by SSSGC Seremban

On 20th October 2024, the Sri Sathya Sai Global Association of Malaysia (SSSGAM) of Seremban organized a successful Blood Donation Campaign. The event, in collaboration with the Blood Bank of Tunku Jaafar Hospital, aimed to encourage community participation in a vital cause which is saving lives through blood donation.

The campaign witnessed an impressive turnout, with a total of 72 individuals registering to donate. Out of these, 20 donors were unable to donate due to various reasons. However, the event still saw a remarkable success rate, with 52 pints of blood collected from the successful donors. This contribution is crucial, as it directly supports the local healthcare system and those in need of blood transfusions.

The participation of five dedicated volunteers from the centre exemplified the spirit of service and commitment to humanitarian efforts. Their efforts not only facilitated the smooth execution of the event but also inspired others to reflect the impact of their contributions. Overall, the Blood Donation Campaign was a significant step towards fostering a culture of giving and altruism within the community.
