Managing Trustee Shri R. J. Rathnakar Visits Singapore

Shri R. J. Rathnakar, Managing Trustee of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, recently visited Singapore and engaged with Sai devotees on August 23, 2026. He participated in a series of insightful sessions focused on Swami, His teachings, and His Mission.

On this special occasion, devotees in Singapore were joined by Zone 5 Chairman Mr. Mahendran, along with the National Council Presidents of Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore, who actively participated in the various programs during Shri Rathnakar’s visit. Their presence and the spirit of camaraderie they brought added a profound sense of unity to the event. We express our deep gratitude for their participation and contribution to the programs.

At 133 Moulmein Road, Shri Rathnakar met informally with the office bearers of the Sri Sathya Sai Global Council Singapore for an open and personal discussion. The conversation addressed various aspects of the Sai Mission and the challenges of collaboration. Shri Rathnakar emphasized the significance of unity, reminding everyone that the Sadhana we engage in, whether through spiritual practice or service, is for our own transformation and benefit, rather than for Swami. He highlighted the importance of setting aside individual differences to achieve a common purpose in Swami’s work.

After the interaction, Shri Rathnakar spent time in Swami’s Room at 133 Moulmein Road, a sacred space lovingly maintained by the Sai devotees of Singapore.

The evening progressed into an engaging Satsang with the Young Adults. The questions posed allowed Shri Rathnakar to share personal insights into his journey, including memories from his student days, his corporate experience, and the lessons learned from his close association with Sri Sathya Sai Baba. These experiences profoundly influenced his understanding of life, work, and service.

The interaction concluded with Swami’s Bhajans, uniting everyone in devotion.

As the evening drew to a close, all devotees present collectively pledged to work in unity under one umbrella in Singapore, setting aside individual differences and keeping Swami and His Mission at the forefront of their endeavors.

The day was ultimately about fostering togetherness. The presence of our Sai brothers and sisters from Malaysia and Indonesia, along with the Zone leadership, reinforced this sentiment. We are grateful for the love and commitment they demonstrated by traveling to Singapore and supporting us throughout the programs.

The enduring message was simple yet profound: our Sadhana is for our own transformation, and Swami’s work gains true significance when we collaborate with love, understanding, and unity.
