Co-Existing with Nature by SSSGC Ipoh, Malaysia

Co-Existing with Nature - Tree Planting and Pet Adoption Drive by Sri Sathya Sai Global Association Malaysia (SSSGAM) Ipoh was held on the 23 March 2024 in conjunction with Earth Hour event organised by Meru Valley Resort Ipoh.

Meru Valley Resort approached Sri Sathya Sai Animal Care team for a Pet Adoption Drive to be held at their premises during Earth Hour observation day. Since Earth Hour is more to environmental care, SSSGAM Ipoh decided to have a 2-in-1 prog which included Tree Planting activity as advised by Deputy President Bro Ravin.

As such, 10 Fiddle Leaf Fig (Ficus Lyrata) saplings were planted in the golf resort by SSSGAM leaders & Meru Valley Resort officials also as part of Sri Sathya Sai Prema Tharu. Pet adopters were also given Aloe Vera saplings to be adopted together. 3 furbabies found their forever homes today. Bro Mahendren (President), Bro Ravin (Dep President), Bro Magadave (Nat Service Coordinator), Bro Vimal (Youth Lead), Sis Kamalam (Chairperson of SSSGAM Sg Siput) and other centre representatives from North & Central region were in presence. It was indeed a fruitful day.
