Turkey Disaster Relief by SSSGC Malaysia

On the 6th February 2023, Turkey was severely hit by a disastrous earthquake with a plethora of casualties.

Many countries and NGOs have stepped in the relief efforts to ease the crisis in Turkey.

SSSGA Malaysia joined the bandwagon and held a brief meeting with the Turkey Embassy on the 25th February 2023, thereafter a cheque handover for earthquake relief.

SSSGA Malaysia President, Bro Mahendran handed over a cheque of RM11,199.99 to Mr Mustafa, the Education Coordinator for Turkey Embassy (Yunus Emre Institute) and Coordinator for Disaster Relief, in the presence of SSSGAM Council Members; VP Service Bro Magadave, Deputy President Bro Ravin and Treasurer Bro Prakash.

Mr Mustafa briefed the council on Turkey rescue mission and current situation.

The effort was made possible by Swami's grace and the generosity of Sai devotees of SSSGAM.
