Sri Sathya Sai School Students and Teachers Spread Love and Nourishment Through Service Activity in Vientiane, Laos
In a heartwarming display of compassion and selflessness, students, teachers, and Sai devotees from Sri Sathya Sai School, Sri Sathya Sai Global Council (SSSGC) Laos, came together to serve those in need at the Vagrant Home in Vientiane. The service activity, which took place on 22 February 2024, aimed to provide nourishment and care to the vulnerable members of the community.
Led by the principles of empathy and service instilled by Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the volunteers embarked on a mission to feed those who are less fortunate. With unwavering dedication and a spirit of unity, they successfully provided meals to 273 individuals, including 79 women, at the Vagrant Home.
What made this service truly special was the love and care with which it was carried out. Every aspect of the endeavor, from the preparation of the food to its delivery, was infused with compassion and thoughtfulness. The meals were lovingly cooked in the school kitchen, ensuring both hygiene and nutritional value, before being transported to the Vagrant Home.
Speaking about the initiative, Ms Bangone Tesavong, Principal at Sri Sathya Sai School, expressed profound gratitude to all the volunteers involved. "It's truly inspiring to see our students and teachers come together with Sai devotees to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Through acts of service like these, we not only nourish the body but also uplift the spirit."
