Malaysia, Seva Workshop by SSSGC Malaysia

A meaningful and inspiring Work is Worship" Seva Workshop was successfully conducted by  Sri Sathya Sai Global Association Malaysia (SSSGAM) on 4 July 2026, bringing together approximately 50 devotees from across Malaysia.

The workshop was based on the 10 principles of "Work is Worship" presented by Dr Geetha Kamath, a haemato-oncologist from the United States, during the Sri Sathya Sai World Conference in Puttaparthi. Participants were encouraged to reflect on Swami's teachings and deepen their understanding of how every act of service can become a form of worship when performed with love, humility and selflessness.

The programme was further enriched by an inspiring talk by Bro. Sri Koteswara Rao, National Service Coordinator of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations (SSSSO) in India, whose insights on the spirit of seva resonated deeply with those present. The workshop also featured valuable sharing sessions by senior devotees and representatives from Sai Centres throughout Malaysia, who shared practical experiences of applying Swami's teachings in their daily lives and service activities.

Throughout the workshop, participants were reminded of the importance of transforming work into worship by cultivating the right attitude, performing every task as an offering to God and strengthening their spiritual connection with Puttaparthi through selfless service.
