Malaysia, Guru Poornima 2025 – A Month of Love and Service by SSSGC Ipoh

The month of July 2025 was lovingly dedicated to our eternal Guru, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, by SSSGAM Ipoh Centre. In commemoration of Sri Sathya Sai Centenary Guru Poornima, devotees engaged in a series of devotional and service activities embracing both human and animal welfare, reflecting Swami’s universal message of compassion. Every activity was an offering of love, carried out in unity and humility as a gratitude at His divine lotus feet.

5 & 6 July 2025 – Ipoh Pet Adoption Drive

Venue: Lotus’s Ipoh Garden

Time: 10.00 am – 5.00 pm

Two days of seva brought countless heartwarming moments as 9 precious souls (8 pups and 1 kitten) found loving homes under the Sri Sathya Sai Animal Care Pet Adoption Drive. The event was supported by volunteers, student helpers from Quest International University, independent rescuers and an animal NGO. Every adoption became a promise of hope, a step towards a kinder world.

10 July 2025 – Guru Poornima Celebration

The auspicious day was observed with devotion and gratitude. The morning programme (6.00–7.00 am) included Omkar, Suprabatham, Guru Stotram, Bhajans and Mangala Arathi. In the evening (7.30–9.00 pm), devotees gathered once again for Mantrapushpam, Bhajans and Mangala Arathi. Swami’s Guru Poornima discourse was reflected upon, reminding all that once He accepts a devotee as His own, He never abandons them.

19 & 20 July 2025 – Subsidised Vaccination Campaign

Venue: Klinik Haiwan & Surgeri Lahat

Time: 2.00 pm – 7.00 pm

A total of 71 furkids were vaccinated during this campaign, many of whom were rescued strays now under the care of shelters, rescuers, and compassionate owners. Special thanks to Dr. Pavithran and his dedicated team for their support. The effort ensured protection and immunity for these voiceless beings, echoing Swami’s message of “Love All, Serve All.”

27 July 2025 – Narayana Seva at Vision Home

Venue: Vision Home, First Garden

Time: 1.00 pm – 2.00 pm

As part of the centre’s bimonthly Narayana Seva, 7 devotees lovingly served 30 children with food and essential items. This seva was a humble expression of gratitude to Bhagawan, who has taught us that true worship lies in serving the needy.
