On 28th December 2025, SSSGAM centres in Penang, namely Sri Sathya Sai Global Association of Malaysia (SSSGAM) Bukit Mertajam, Prai and Alma, came together in a spirit of unity and selfless service to carry out a Flood Relief Mission for families affected by the recent floods in the northern region of Malaysia.
Following careful identification of severely affected areas, Kampung 12, Tasoh, Perlis was selected, a village that had suffered extensive damage due to the floods. With Swami’s divine grace, 16 devotees actively participated in the packing and on-site distribution, preparing 42 dry ration packs for 42 affected families.
The dry ration items were thoughtfully gathered and packed at the Bukit Mertajam Centre, ensuring that each family received essential food supplies to help them through this difficult period. The relief materials were then transported to the village and distributed personally, allowing the team to connect directly with the families and offer not only material support, but also love, compassion, and reassurance.
This noble mission was made possible through the collective efforts of devotees, well-wishers, and supporters who contributed both directly and indirectly. Heartfelt gratitude is offered to Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, whose divine guidance continues to inspire such acts of loving service. Special appreciation is also extended to Mr. Guna from Akademi Kenegaraan Malaysia for his invaluable logistics support and guidance, which ensured the smooth execution of the mission.
This Flood Relief Mission stands as a reflection of Swami’s timeless message : “Hands that serve are holier than lips that pray.”
