On Saturday, 24 May 2025, the Sai Young Adults of Jakarta, a youth wing under SSSGC Jakarta, conducted a seva activity for 18 children at YKAKI (Yayasan Kasih Anak Kanker Indonesia – Indonesian Children’s Cancer Foundation). The initiative aimed to uplift the spirits of children undergoing cancer treatment through meaningful interaction and engaging activities.
The day commenced with a lively group singing session, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere. This musical introduction helped set a positive tone for the rest of the program.
The children were then invited to take part in a superhero-themed activity. Each child was paired with a youth volunteer to design and decorate their own superhero cape and mask. To further enhance the excitement, one volunteer dressed up as “Batman,” bringing smiles to the children’s faces, while another performed a magic show that captivated and entertained the entire group.
The event concluded with the distribution of personalized hampers containing both practical and playful items. These included Lego sets, coloring books, water bottles, blankets, stuffed animals, and 3D puzzles. The activity successfully created a cheerful and supportive environment, offering the children a memorable experience filled with joy, creativity, and companionship.
