Water for Life Project by SSSGC Alma, Malaysia

Water for Life Project by Alma Centre of Sri Sathya Sai Global Association Malaysia (SSSGAM) began on 1 January 2023 at Gaya District, Bihar, India.

Water Life Project is an initiative to provide clean water for the villagers. With the installation of this water pump, villagers are able to conveniently access to clean and good water supply, alleviating the burden of traveling long distances for basic needs like bathing. This essential service not only enhances the overall well-being of the community but also ensures the safety and health of families by reducing exposure to potential risks associated with distant water sources.

The implementation of this service costs around RM3000.00 and has thus far been funded by Bhagawan's devotees from all over Malaysia.

Phase I of the Project was completed in 15 months with 54 units of water pumps installed in various villages in Gaya, an average of 3 water pumps per month.

Phase II began in March 2024 with Pump No 55 installed at Garibchak Village on 22 March 2024. The Garibchak area is home to about 40 villagers who are facing major issues in accessing proper water supply in their homes.

Gaya District also houses the famous Bodh Gaya where Gautama Buddha is said to have attained enlightenment. The members of Alma Centre of SSSGAM believe that they are being guided to Gaya District by the Lord Buddha and our beloved Sai Buddha.
