"S.M.I.L.E" Programme by SSSGC Jakarta, Indonesia

On the 25th June 2023, SSSGC Jakarta, Indonesia held a Parents & Teachers Meeting for S.M.I.L.E Programme.

The “S.M.I.L.E” (Serving Mankind Inspires Love Everywhere) Programme of SSSGC Jakarta came into existence around 1998 and is a combination of the Education & the Service wing. The aim of this programme is to teach English infused with Human Values to under privileged children.

The Mission statement of the S.M.I.L.E Team is “To Promote Education That Builds A Strong Character in Children As They Are The Future Of Our Nation”. Classes are conducted every Sunday morning.

Just as any other school the S.M.I.L.E Team also conduct regular Parents Teachers Meetings during which the the progress and proficiency in the English language of each and every child are discussed on a “One to One” basis between the teacher and the parent of a child.

The event on 25th June 2023 was attended by 75 Students, 75 Parents and 14 SMILE Programme Teachers.
