'Orang Asli' Outreach Programme by SSSGC Taman Yarl, Malaysia

Sri Sathya Sai Global Association Malaysia (SSSGAM) Taman Yarl's 'Orang Asli' outreach programme held on 15th June 2024 was a significant event aimed at providing crucial support to the indigenous tribe. The primary goal of the program was to distribute essential rations and basic necessities to the community while also focusing on educating them about the importance of oral hygiene, specifically emphasising gum and teeth care.

During the outreach programme, a dedicated session was conducted by the enthusiastic youths of SSSGAM Taman Yarl. They took the time to demonstrate and explain the proper brushing techniques for maintaining good oral health. This hands-on approach not only helped the 'Orang Asli' community members understand the significance of oral hygiene but also empowered them with practical knowledge that they could implement in their daily lives.

The involvement of 9 committed youths in this initiative showcases the spirit of volunteerism and community service within SSSGAM Taman Yarl. Through their efforts, approximately 70 individuals from the tribe were provided with standard rations and necessary items, addressing immediate needs and fostering a sense of care and solidarity.

The impact of the outreach programme was evident in the smiles and gratitude of the recipients. The aid brought joy and relief to the 'Orang Asli' community, highlighting the importance of such initiatives in supporting marginalized groups.
