Be A Buddy, Adopt A Furry by SSSGC Malaysia

Since December 2021, Sri Sathya Sai Global Association Malaysia (SSSGAM) in collaboration with Noah's Ark Ipoh Animal Welfare (NAI) have held 9 pet adoption drive in Ipoh, Perak.

The pets brought to the adoption drive are rescued stray puppies, kittens and cats. Some were found with sickness, malnourished, tick infested etc. These furries are rescued from the streets by individual rescuers, registered animal NGOs and so on.

SSSGAM's joint collaborator Noah's Ark Ipoh Animal Welfare or better known as NAI was formed in 2009 and they have a shelter for disabled and sick cats. They prioritise neutering of the strays to control the population. They have also been actively carrying out cat adoption drives for long time.

Now, SSSGAM and NAI together have created a platform for all independent rescuers and animal NGOs to rehome their rescued puppies and kittens/cats.

On 1st and 2nd April 2023, on their 9th Pet Adoption Drive, a total of 23 fur kids were rehomed which makes a total of 389 pets adopted since December 2021.
