SSSGC Sai Anandam Bali, Indonesia visits the Orphanage

On the 21st December 2023, SSSGC Sai Anandam Bali, Indonesia visited the Dharma Jati I Orphanage at Bakas Vilage, Banjangangkan Klungkung Regency, Bali Province to serve 55 children.

Dharma Jati I is an orphanage that accommodates children from toddlers to 15 years old. All these children are taught various independent skills ranging from washing clothes, cooking food together, preparing of firewood for cooking etc.

Children above the age of 15 are sent to the Dharma Jati II orphanage located in Denpasar. This is to enable the teenagers to attend the regional high school in Denpasar.

These orphanages are managed independently by its founder and receive assistance from various parties for the continuity of its daily operations.

Apart from relying on donations from third parties, this orphanage also relies on sales proceeds from their agricultural activities to support the lives of 55 children.

All in all the children here are well taken care of but they are still in need of love and compassion. As such 28 members of Sai Anandam held a memorable get together with the children and their caretakers.

Among the activities held were :

• Distribution of daily basic necessities ie tooth paste, soap, brush and provisions such

rice, noodles etc

• Playing games with the children

• Gathering and having lunch together

• Sharing of human values story

• Distribution of goodie bags and stationeries
