Mahilas from SSSGC Sai Anandam, Bali served the Underprivileged
On the 25th of February 2024, the Mahilas from SSSGC Sai Anandam, Bali Indonesia served 100 packs of fruits to the underprivileged.
These fruits were to be used as an offering during Galungan Festival in Bali. Galungan is a Balinese holiday celebrating the victory of dharma over adharma. It marks the time when the ancestral spirits visit the Earth.
The Balinese offer fruits as a form of devotion. However, the underprivileged are unable to celebrate this in full tradition due to the hefty price of fruits. The Mahilas came up with a thoughtful seva to bring joy and cheer to the underprivileged by distributing the fruits.
