SSSGC Taiwan Participates in a Sociocare Seva

A 4 days camp for Foster families, including parents and children was organised by the local Christian Mustard Seed Association from 12th to 16th August 2023.

Children in these families have experienced significant trauma in their original households and are put into foster care.

This yearly camp provides children with opportunities for healing and enabling them to integrate into the community and return to mainstream society.

5 SSE volunteers and teachers from SSSGC Taiwan were invited to conduct daily morning sessions which comprised sessions of hand drawn creative picture books and clay sculpting. EHV songs were shared, allowing values to subtly influence and bring joy.

About 70 children and their foster families participated actively in the sessions conducted.
